Franchise Kids Overview
The mission of the Franchise Kids Foundation is to improve the skills and confidence, both academically and athletically, of low social-economic background girls and boys, by instilling an emphasis on education, improving their test-taking skills, athletic conditioning and building their character. Franchise Kids Foundation is a 501. (c). (3) organization that is driven by Mike Jenkins focus on providing educational programs for children in underserved communities and health wellness initiatives that addresses the many health issues that are affecting our families across the nation, such as child obesity, diabetes, heart disease and cancer just to name a few.
Character, Responsibility and Education is our Greatest Success
Through the educational, health awareness and scholarship programs, Mike Jenkins' Franchise Kids Foundation gives young people the inspiration to pursue their dreams and enables them to excel academically and professionally; helps families with the tools needed to improve the lives; and encourages all those in the community to live a healthier and better quality of life. The FKF strives to help at-risk youth through educational, cultural and recreational programs, with emphasis on avoiding gang violence and drug abuse, while increasing community awareness. Through our program of academic support, personal counseling, and sports camps, we strive to motivate students and student athletes to pursue their educational degrees, as well as, professional sports ambitions.
